Here are some highlights that you could very well have a need for international travel medical insurance as well. Travel Medical Insurance provides so much more than emergency medical coverage. It offers benefits including trip interruption, lost checked luggage coverage, travel delay, and repatriation of remains.

If it’s a medical emergency needing overnight hospitalization or emergency medical evacuation, then the insured (or someone else) would contact our global customer support team, and they will help make arrangements. When possibly, Tokio Marine HCC – MIS Group will set up direct billing with the provider so the insured can avoid paying expenses up front.

(In some situations, the insured may pay out-of -pocket and claim reimbursement from us. Whether the provider bills directly or the insured pays out-of- pocket, proof of claim must be submitted by the insured to Tokio Marine HCC – MIS Group. Be sure you keep all documentation, files any necessary police reports, and saves all receipts.)

Atlas Travel insurance is Tokio Marine HCC – MIS Group’s international travel medical insurance policy underwritten by Lloyds of London Syndicate 4141. It is designed to cover individuals traveling outside their home country on a relatively short term basis, with initial certificate periods ranging from 5 days up to 364 days with extension/renewal options for some clients.
